This lovely Chinese bracelet is from the first half of the twentieth century. It features the skilled silversmith's repousse work depicting auspicious symbol for longevity and floral motifs.  It is likely that this bracelet is a wedding bracelet given to the bride by her groom. The metal does not test as silver, but may in fact have some silver content. 

• Inner circumference is 17 cm ( 6 3/4") including a 2.5 cm (1") gap.
